Steps for Sharing Google Drive Files
- Ensure that your file's visibility in Google Drive is set to "Anyone with the link". If it's marked as "Restricted," only users who are logged into Google and have been granted access will be able to open the link, which may not be ideal.
- Note that this setting applies only to uploaded files, not to documents created within Google Docs, Sheets, or Slides.
- If the file is very large, opening the direct link may first display a message indicating that the file is too large for a virus scan. In this case, there will be a button to download the file.
